Sports Hall Athletics

We are excited to share some fantastic news—our Year 8 Girls secured an impressive 2nd place in the Sports Hall Athletics competition! The event took place on Thursday, January 23rd, at Highbury Grove School, where our talented athletes competed against other schools in the borough.

A huge congratulations to our Silver Medalists, who showed outstanding determination, effort, and focus throughout the day. The girls competed in a variety of events, including field events like long jump, triple jump, vertical jump and shot put, as well as running events such as the relay, 2-lap relay, 8 lap paarlauf and more.

The performances were truly remarkable—our girls achieved a standing long jump of 1m 95cm, and also won in three running events! It was a highly competitive atmosphere, with everyone feeling the pressure, but our team held strong and delivered some amazing results.
