Islington Youth Council Elections 2024
We are delighted to announce that, following the fantastic achievement of having Ameera elected as Youth Mayor of Islington last year, our school is once again engaging in the democratic process with a strong lineup of nine student candidates! This fantastic participation reflects the dedication, passion, and community spirit of Highbury Fields School.
The election for Islington’s Youth Mayor will take place in school on Tuesday 19th November. This is an excellent opportunity for students to exercise their right to vote, support their peers, and make their voices heard in shaping our community’s future.
We encourage all students to get to know the candidates, who have been working hard to prepare their ideas and visions for a better Islington. Let's show them our support and look forward to seeing who will represent us next year!
