Year 13 Leavers Event and Richard Reeves Achievement Award

Earlier this term, on Monday 24th June, the Sixth Form hosted the Year 13 Leavers’ Celebration Assembly. It was a really lovely event to mark the completion of Year 13 and a chance to say a last goodbye to an incredible cohort of students.

The assembly consisted of speeches from Ms Tobia and Mr Gough,  followed by a hilarious photograph-filled presentation from the Year 13 student leaders, reflecting on their time at HFS and reminiscing on funny moments they’ve shared together over the last two years.

There were also farewell messages from the sixth form tutors and subject teachers, as well as the presentation of subject awards, along with the Richard Reeve’s Foundation Award of £2000 to Yordanos Yohannes and the Reading scholarship award of £275 to Nawaal Hussein. Not to be out down, Head Student Alejna Dzeladini, also handed out funny, bizarre and insightful awards to every member of the Year 13 cohort.

The event concluded with chocolate cupcakes, hot chocolate and impromptu dancing: it was a special way to mark the end of Year 13’s time at HFS, and wish them luck for their future.
