Year 13 Trip to Brighton

To celebrate the efforts of Year 13 throughout their exam, and to make some final fond memories before moving on to pastures new, Year 13 students took the train to Brighton on Tuesday 25 June, for a day out by the sea.

Amabel, Alejna and Tahsin give an insight into the day:

Today we embarked on a new adventure…TO BRIGHTON!
We started off by having lunch by the sea (can’t go wrong with fish and chips).
We took a walk on the pier and played a few games in the arcade while others splashed around in the water.

We explored the lanes and found ourselves in Cafè Nero (with free drinks!) and strolled down the lanes to find a cute photobooth and took spectacular pictures!!! We also got chased by seagulls and drunk huge quantities of slushies to fight off the heat of Brighton!!

We finished the day off by having a cold and well-deserved ice cream before taking in the Regency splendour of the Royal Pavilion and then trekking back to the station, by which point our feet almost fell off.

It was a lovely way to end our experience at HFS.
