Richard Hadley
Role: Associate Governor
Job: Architect, Founder of architectural firm ehk!
Why did you want to be a governor at an Islington school?
I'm an architect and have lived in the area for some ten years. I wanted to become involved in my local community. When the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at the chance.
What do you find most interesting about being a governor?
I have been truly inspired by the ability and enthusiasm of the students whenever I visit the school. One particular highlight was the winter concert. It was heart-warming to see the students supporting each other with their performances. The dedication of the staff is another thing I am impressed by. I have been in awe at the organisation and thought that goes on behind the scenes.
